New member, 2006 XC70

Morning all, I recently purchased a used 2006 XC70 with 153k miles.

So far I have done a synthetic oil change, and a trans drain and fill.

Currently need to address:

AWD inop - Bevel gear sleeve (hopefully) or used bevel gear
RF window off track (broken sliders) already purchased - DONE
Refinish the headlights
Tires soonish
Possible RF wheel bearing
Front control arms

A little back story on me, I was a Euro auto tech for an independent shop for years, then moved onto the parts side of things. I am currently working at a Volvo dealer in the parts department near Boston, MA. I come from owning many VAG products and Saabs. I decided would like to explore the comfort and reliability of Volvo!

If anyone is in the Boston or surrounding area, I would be happy to help with parts breakdowns, discounted prices, and info.

Thanks for the generous offer.
I drive a 2007 V70 base and just installed a CURT receiver hitch.
Can you tell me the electronic box (shoves onto the fuse block) and wiring harness (out from the box to the trailer light plug) part numbers?

Welcome aboard TJ.

I just got my first Volvo last May. It's a 2007 XC70 that had 121k miles now up to 125k miles. I got it from a solo used car dealer in Northborough from a guy named Steve.

I live out in Western MA but visit my family in Greater Boston quite often. I could meet you out there if I ever buy a part from you.

Im in extreme Western MA, on the other side of the Hudson.

I do drive to Boston every week during semester, on Tuesdays.
