Finding only pieces of this here so thought I'd ask. Was driving in heavy rain (All systems perfect for a year before) and suddenly got an ABS?Trac control message...Then Brake system warning, then Reduced braking warning, then gauges began to stop,then active traction settings OFF, then reduced power happened. Drove it 50miles home with no new problems. Let idle a while and shut off. At restart dash came back and reduced power gone.
Sprayed down all connections I could find with CRC wire dry, Hit a few with DEX III ( an electrical connection enhancing fluid by the way) Checked grounds/fuses ALL OK...and waited a day with hood open in sun.
Almost everything fine then...But Service ABS/Traction notice and No AWD Just front wheel. No other problems, Dash fine, etc Been driving all summer that way.
Fall is here, Damp out...Just got a codes/Warnings again in rain. And had real codes for reader. ABS 0094, ECM 5310, ECM 903C, ECM 9150. Cleared them, gave some dry time, Drove and just the 0094 Remains. It was there last time I checked too.
Would like my AWD back and need some help here. Thinking it is just a connector? But which ONE hits all these? Or maybe the fuse panel board in fuse panel under cover needs solder? Rather lost...

PS: I tried a ABS controller but no change...it just showed another code for needing steering calibration.

Just an idea maybe water ingress to DEM, see if its corroded, check Xemodex site

If anyone launched a boat or small dinghy off a boat ramp with this car in its previous life you can bet the DEM will have water ingress. An encased module near the rear differential.

For throttle codes remove ECM with special tool and clean contacts with Electrical Contact cleaner & toothbrush. If this doesn't work try a new loom for the throttle before replacing the throttle as the pins don't contact too well there.

The tricky part is the codes all come when wet at once...Can the DEM set ECM codes? Today is a dry day,ECM Codes cleared and not returning for now. I will check out the DEM anyway, watched a good vid on it and seems worth checking no matter what. Thanks for info!

My guess is it is caused by one connector short throwing many false trouble codes. But which one?????

If no one has a better idea and you are desparate ...

Since this sounds easily recreatable in damp weather, how about artificially creating it. Take a windex spray bottle or equivalent, fill with water and spray various potential problem areas one at a time until you find the issue.

I have thought about that. But it seems to take a lot of water to work in. Was a few hours driving in downpours with lots of pooling water on road first time. Few good hose soakings of DEM could work. I'm looking at it again today. Was nice and clean with no heavy rust or corrosion around it last I checked. Will be looking closer. I have cleaned the ABS and ECM computer pin connectors and sealed w electrical grease with no change. They looked fine and are now well sealed too.

Either the throttle is faulty or a new loom required or both. The looms are about $40

Did you remove the DEM connector to inspect it?

I am taking car off road for winter. Other tasks to take care of. I will resume this thread in spring. Thank you all for help.
