Junkyard, scrapyard, salvage yard.whatever you want to call it, you need it. I have an 2004 S60 and that mirror was a certain shape available only from the dealer.90$ so I've been where you are. It basically has a four prong clip on the back side. If you gently pull on it ( providing you can get your fingers behind it) you should be able to pop one out of the casing. Then there are 2 wires to unclip for the heated mirrors. I've done it successfully several times.now it's your turn .MDK .. rolling on!

HARRYs in Allentown is a good place fairly close to score body parts. It will be cheaper than buying just the mirror new.

I actually need the driver side mirror heated. I have been looking at Pep boys and autozone ... anyone know the brands Burco or Dorman. This would of course happen with MV inspection coming up

So I decided on the heated Dorman mirror ordered from Autozone. My glass fell out so I followed directions and popped it out. I was relieved until I got to the two defroster wires. Just could not remove them from the tabs thy were attached two. Got needle nods pliers but have to admit was afraid to break then bigger problems because the rear defroster is part of the system. I thought of using WD40 bug read that's not good for the contacts....So any ideas is much appreciated
