Repair Idea for Broken Plastic

Scotty had a new video up talking about repairing automotive plastics.

Essentially, it is a kit that comes with a 3 stage adhesive and a rubberized patch that hardens when sprayed with the activator and heated. Looks like a pretty good idea. This is not something I've seen before for plastic. Thinking this might be good for fixing cracked trim pieces and reinforcing broken plastic tabs. Never had any luck with epoxies or glues on the fragile Volvo plastic. Thoughts?

Looks like a viable solution if the area is not seen. There are a number of products out there. Some add plastic and use special plastic soldering irons, others use specially formulated plastic epoxies created for the purpose. Most body shops use special epoxy fillers that can be sanded and finished for bumper covers.
