As in the thread title: I'm looking for an intact rear (tail) light assembly for an S70. Driver's side only. This is the outer/corner light, not the one in the trunk lid. Would like it shipped to Iowa.

What tools do you need to remove it? I don't have a lot of time tomorrow but I might be close to a PnP that has a 99 S70 in it.

Thanks for the offer Neil but maybe don't go out of your way for me at this point, I may not want to fork over for the shipping from the great north.

I just learned the yard up near one of my wife's work sites has it too, for cheap and already pulled, so first I will probably have her try there on Monday. Not a big rush on this, it's for the S70 I gave to my mother in law, will see the car at the end of Dec.

Held by four 10 mm nuts, you'll need a socket on a 6 inch or so extension (I use my 1/4 drive sockets for this usually). Pretty sure you need a deep socket. Open trunk (watch your head - bad trunk struts in the yard!), remove felt liner, unplug connector, remove 4 nuts, light pushes right out.

Ok. Didn't manage to get there today anyway. Appreciate the shipping cost issue, but hopefully you get a good one locally. Snow coming tomorrow and cold weather next week. Ugh!

Thanks much Evan, I won't need it. I found one locally and installed last week during a visit to the in-laws. Good to check in on the S70, it is still going strong at 204k ...
