2002 V70 Ignition coils
Greetings, on the V70's (2002 P2), do the ignition coils performance decline over time or do they work fine until they fail?

They can develop cracks in the plastic and get flaky before they fail outright. The electronics can also get flaky.

I think the answer is yes, but that doesn't meant the spark gets too weak to the point of burning less the mixture. What is important is to make sure the engine doesn't stay too hot (some owners may experience overly hot top engine), and to replace the spark plugs timely with the correct type
