Having trouble locating a M.A.F. wiring diagram for a 08 s80 3.2l non turbo. I need color wires and pin location for a 5 wire denso maf sensor.
Two wires got pulled out doing a intake exchange i thought i got them right but every time I start my car now it immediately dies but if I unplug the maf it's runs rough idling hard shifts problems.... Need help bad I can't believe how hard it is to get a diagram to the internet it seems like everything every time I punch in Volvo S80 I get every other car except for volvo. any help would be greatly appreciated thank you very much..

Under S80 select TP 39115202 and enter 50 in the page selector in the PDF tool bar at top. Or go down the left side and select engine control module and it will jump to page 50. The MAF is item 7/17 right at half way down that page.. The pin numbers at 7/17 are the numbers on connector body and the wire colors are there too.

There is no vacuum on that car. There is a canister purge valve down on intake above the throttle. There is a hard plastic hose from charcoal canister at back end of car. There is a hard plastic line from fuel tank to canister. There is a vent line from canister to the leak detection pump. The LDP has a vent hose that goes up the the right rear wheel well and has a "filter" on the end that keeps stuff like spiders and dirt wasps from doing their nest biz in that tube and plugging it. If it is a turbo then there is a turbo control valve. If it is a turbo I can look for the color code, I can't remember it with certainty. There is a hose from turbo outlet net, a hose to wastegate and a vent hose to air inlet pipe from MAF down to turbo inlet.
There is no hose diagram in the wiring diagram books.

Hopefully this is useful information
Picture of the wiring for my 2010 S80 3.2 MAF (note the latch for orientation)
Wiring information for LR2 with the same 3.2 (I own two 3.2's, 2008 LR2 and 2010 S80)

P0103 is a tough one
The first thing I would do in your situation is to do a hard reset on the ECU by removing the battery cables and letting everything get to Zero Volts (give it some time to drain the capacitors)
Then reconnect and verify the P0103 is still there
Assuming it is
The MAF air flow sensor and temperature sensor receive 5 Volts from the ECU and the MAF also gets 12 Volts from the Battery
P0103 implies that the 5 Volt wire is getting 12 Volts
You can also check the voltage at the connector
The white wire should be +12 Volts
Two of the other wires should be 5 Volts
Good Luck
