Hello,
I have a 2001 Volvo V70 2.4T with 244k miles. I am about to start a suspension rebuild, front and rear. I’ve got almost all my parts and have a few questions for the rear.
I bought the rear control arm bushing kit from FCP. Here’s a link to review it.

So about those delta links, does this kit come with a replacement bushing for that or do I need to buy the whole link?
I also bought shocks and mounts for the rear, is there anything else that isn’t included in that kit? Believe it or not, 95% of it is still original, so I consider it all suspect and want to try to replace it all at once while I have the money.
Do any or all of these bushings require a special press or tool? I’m aware of the 2 arm press for the delta links...are there any more special ones I’ll need?
Also, out of curiosity, I noticed on a Volvo parts site that it listed several different spring choices for P2’s. Does anyone know the differences and in particular if I could switch to a different factory spring and effectively lower the car, even just a little?
Thank you all very much
Dave

That kit doesn't have the Delta links, but I don't think your 2001 uses them. Deltas were on the P80 chassis, and are lots of fun to remove

Thank you abscate. Not quite sure where all the bushings in the kit go yet, so I’m still doing some reading before I get started.
So since I don’t need those, will that kit complete the job? And will I need special tools made or rented?
In addition to the kit, I also have rear sway bar end links on hand, rear shocks and shock mounts, and an IPD sway bar back ordered but on the way. I wanna get it all while I have the money, so assuming no metal is bent or damaged, will I need to purchase any other parts before I start?
