How many of you take part in SCCA events? Spectator or competitor?

J-dawg mentioned SCCA as a way to actually get to drive on a race track. Looking at some videos on YouTube it looks like FUN!!! Obviously taking a 15 year old S80 out is not a option.

So those of you out there in Volvoland who take part in events, I would love to know what car you use and the mods that were necessary to be able to compete with that car. And has that car won? Really anything anyone wants to talk about, please post. June
