1990 240 DL 54,xxx one owner car
I had my S80 in for a oil change this morning and sitting on Osteen Volvo showroom floor is the most perfect 240 I have seen since the 1990s. I sat in it and the seat still feels soft like new and still has that smell Volvo cars had back then. I have no idea what the price is, but the cashier said it came straight from the original owners garage. 54,xxx on odometer and has all the original equipment in place down to the stereo. The original gold paint has a mirror finish, not even a scuff on any of the original silver plastic hub caps. My first thought was Volvo made a run of new 240 cars. It is that good. It must be rare to find such a perfect 26 year old car so I wanted to pass it on. I don't know how to post a picture but it must show on their inventory online. That's Osteen Volvo of Jacksonville Florida. June

Thanks for adding the photos as I am pretty new at this. I didn't ask the price, OUCH! I figured you never know, someone might really be looking for a nice original 240. There can't be too many left like that. June

I am still kicking myself for not buying this 240! It sold for asking price 15K and was shipped to Dubai! I did sit in this car, as well as closely looked under the hood. It was basically a brand new car completely original meticulously serviced by one owner and lived its life in her garage.
I wonder if the gentleman selling the 1985 240 wagon has a price like this car in mind. This car was completely ready to drive with refreshed break system, cooling system, new timing belt and tires plus all fluids were changed. My dealership's service department went through this car and the factory paint was flawless. Also it still had that new Volvo smell from 30 years ago. It was as close to buying a new 240 as possible. Pricing “ time machine” cars like this is always very scattered. It gets driven by random things like it matches the colour of the car we rented on our honeymoon to fools like me with too much money.
