2008 XC90 interior lights not working with fobbut the locks work

I recently took my battery out to charge and cleaned the contacts... I reinstalled it yesterday and the car had a little hesitation this morning but ran fine.. I checked it two hours after and it started right up but the interior lights would not go on when I used the key fob? Any ideas? Thanks
