J2534 and most current Dice firmware

I would like to know if firmware version 5.6.2 is the most current firmware available and if anyone has had success using Dice 5.6.2 as J2534 passthrough tool. I'm currently trying to use my tool to update the software on my old Ford Explorer but it will not communicate with the Explorer even though Fords FJDS software recognizes the J2534 device.

well as far as i can tell the Dice with 5.6.2 is not capable of communicating over j2534 to a ford vehicle, it fails with forscan as well.
