Been driving the S70 for a few days. It's been flawless in operation but this morning I noticed the parking lights don't flash when I lock the car using the remote key fob. They worked when I put it to bed last night. Locks functions are working as normal and the parking lights/turn signals are all working normally.
Anyone ever had this happen? Doesn't really bother me but I hope it isn't the start of some underlying issue.
Thanks,
Remote Lock Light Flash

When the lights don't flash, it means that the alarm system has not been armed.
It doesn't arm when the condition "all doors, hood & trunk are closed" is not met.
A common failure is the tailgate wiring harness, which makes the alarm system think that the tailgate isn't locked. Does the 'tailgate open' light stay on sometimes?
Another trick is opening and closing the hood a few times to ensure those two latches are locked well.

Thanks for the info, just user error this time. I must have hit the trunk button while in my pocket. Went to hit lunch and the trunk light was on in the cluster. Closed it and all back to normal.
Thanks,
Thanks,
