Welcome, S60, V60 and XC60 owners! (This little Volvo family of -60 models is growing. It started with just the S60 in 2011!)
This is just like any of the other Volvo car forums here on MVS: post requests for help, advice, your thoughts on this model, and photos of your S60, V60 or XC60.
If you have a dedicated, longer-length opinion piece on your Volvo, please post that here. Ownership problems or praises are especially welcome.

Just drove our new XC60 off the lot, the 3.2 model with premium and climate. This car replaces our 2004 XC90 T6 which just died. More correctly gearbox died, sunroof didnt drain properly leading to failed Yaw Control, etc. etc etc. In any event, I am reasonably happy with the outcome and now we have the XC60.
Early initial opinions are positive.

New to S60 forum, my '03 XC70 died untimely multi system failure at 177k, most acutely a manifold malfunction
Overall loving the S60, flamenco red, except the difficult to read speedometer.
One curious problem (and I'll go to radio or technical forum next), when I play my iPhone 5 through iPod USP port, the volume mutes after 1 - 5 minutes, although the song timer continues as if it's still playing. I unplug and re plug the phone, and it just does it again. This phone works fine in other vehicles, and other iPhones work fine in my new car. It does the same thing if I use the auxiliary plug. Maybe time to upgrade to new iPhone? Any thoughts?

I purchased a 2013 S60 T6 AWD to replace my 2010 S80 T6 AWD (whose rear differential had begun making noises). I read in the owner's manual that the cars could be equipped with automatic high-beams. After discovering that mine didn't come so equipped, I am wondering whether the feature can be retrofitted and, if so, what the cost might be.
I just posted on the general forum after buying our 2015 V60, first nearly new car in 20 years. Our 2000 V40 caught fire, so something had to give. We loved the V60 at first sight. The styling is definitely Volvo. Everything I've read makes me hope this is a good one and we get as much life out of it as we did the V40. The V40 is still nice enough to repair and hand down to my daughter as a learn to drive car, so we are happy with Volvo as of today!
Life is Outstanding!

New member here, owner of a 2015 V60 for about a month now. Though it's a T4F variant, 1.6L 180hp, E85-friendly
And... I love it! Mind you, I am a plebe when it comes to "fancy" cars, I previously drove a Toyota Yaris, pickup trucks... So the V60 is a quantum leap ahead in terms of refinement!.
I'm a bit of a gearhead, manual-or-die racer wannabe (my other car is a stripped-down Yaris with a 1.6L turbo swapped from an old MR2), but I'm also getting older and doing longer journeys. What really sold me on the Volvo was the adaptive cruise control. In other cars, after driving more than one hour on the highway, my right leg would cramp from holding the pedal at nearly the same position for so long. Since owning it, I've put about 3,000km on the car, mostly from a 1,800km road trip with my GF and her mom, and it's just been so comfortable and pleasant!
To me, it's just a perfect balance of a car... It looks amazing, powerful enough (but who wouldn't want more horses?), fuel economy is much better than I expected (even with E85, surprisingly), and it has enough tech toys to keep a geek like me entertained
I'm looking forward to owning this car for many more years.
Oh and I'm not a complete Volvo noob, when I was a kid, my parents went through a couple as well, if I am not mistaken, a 344 then a 360

Welcome, eTiMaGo. I too appreciate adaptive cruise, but don't have it. One day...
Beauty V60. Really pretty. I have some photos from Thailand 2002 of... Volvos. I was surprised to find them there. I didn't know Thailand was a Volvo market. I'll try to dig them up...
That Yaris with turbo sounds like a blast. If you want to, add some details about it in the General/Misc forum. New topic there or post to the Non-Volvo Car Megathread.
