Light switch help

Post by rowy »

Hi Everyone.
I have a headlight issue that can hopefully be resolved with your assistance.

Lights come on when i turn ignition key to position 2 and remain on when i start the engine.
the problem is that when i turn the light switch to either position the lights go off ???
i have removed the light switch but founf no visible damage.
I have checked all fuses and all are fine.
Any help would be appreciated.

Regards Roland

Though I can't speak specifically to your Bulgarian '96 V40,
a failing CEM has been known to cause headlight issues on US delivered S/V40 cars.
