I took it for a little ride around the neighborhood and it got me back home but as the boost gauge gets to the white it misses like a sob and i have to back off.

Item 20 in this diagram:

Penzzoil EURO 5W40 motor oil worked this morning too.
No...that's NOT IAT.
IAT is ONLY used in 10v and turbo cars.
That's thermostat for air filter housing flap.It helps engine to reach operating temperature more quickly....by using air from hot exhaust manifold.....when engine reach operating temperature, that thermostat closes and engine breath via fresh air snorkel.

I was talking about IAT...this isn't IAT.

Have you checked all your hoses? Eliminating the ECT sensor, I still think it sounds like a vacuum leak. If you run into issues when it crosses into boost, pay special attention to the hose from compressor housing to TCV (port just below and to the left of the intake on the turbo). It’ll seriously mess with you if that’s either clogged or leaking).

Disregard xHeart’s posts and the resulting exchange - they don’t apply to turbo cars.

Are you talking about the braided line that connects to the turbo housing? That is the only one i didnt replace because i didnt have a replacement for it. Could you leave a link to purchase it?
