'00/'02 shift knob interchange?

Can anybody confirm for me that the shift knob (just the knob) from an '02 S40 will fit correctly on an '00? I think they have been the same for years, and I know my '99 C70 knob would fit, but I don't want to buy a used one on e-bay only to find out later they made some chage between '00 and '02 to the S40. It's an auto tranny.

Part numbers are the same.
