Hi all,
We had recent food and water got into my garage up to the door seals, even higher. The floor carpets got soaked. The car operates fine in all aspects after the carpets were wiped (but not dried, it takes much longer) except the "urgent SRS service" message and poor seat heaters operation. Anything can be done other than bring it to the dealer? Thanks.

If it was salt water the car is a total, report it to your insurance. Really if the car is repairable your insurance should kick in and it should go to the dealer and be evaluated for damages. Then the decision rather to repair or total will be up to the adjuster. I don't know about the 2013 model, but earlier. Models have electronics under the passenger seat. June

It sounds like the wiring under the seats got wet. That will be an expensive harness fix, and your car would get a salvage label in my state, I don't know about IL.
