Running P0032 DTC

Post by hlar51 »

Hey guys, I have a 2001 V70 2.4 non turbo. CEL has been on for a while. Ran the scanner and P0032 came up. Checked thet heater circuit in sensor one and it was shot. Replaced the 02 sensor but still have the code. Checked all the wiring and resistance, all good. Looking at the live data and it's showing a voltage at sensor 1 of 0.50. The other sensor voltage is reading around 0.034. The system is also running in "open loop". Can't figure this one out. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Where are you taking the measurements from?

Pins 1 & 2 are the heaters.
Pins 3 & 4 are the O2 sensor.

Did you check both wiring harnesses? The heater supply is common to both.

Checking pins 1 and 2 ( same color wires) for resistance on the sensor, getting about 6 ohms. And 3 and 4 on the connector. Getting 12.8 volts from the signal wire. Looking at the live data on the scanner also.

Oh and by the way, thanks for the response and the diagram. Very helpful. I can use it for further details and tracing the circuit. 👍
