Nice and clean. Though the sun does show it really should be polished.

This is next to a pretty average looking winter dirty car in the garage.

Yeah, and you'd think car buyers care more about living than a J.D. Power award on "best safety features" or something along those lines. A safety "feature" like automatic braking isn't going to save your life when you get hit by an 18 wheeler.

Saab, BMW, and Mercedes too. They don't get as much attention as Volvo or Subaru, but they all make excellent cars as far as safety goes. My mom was hit at 40ish MPH by a lawn service truck (Isuzu NPR) in her 1999 528i wagon about 9 years ago, and we went and bought the exact same car after that. Why? Because it held up beautifully. She and my two brothers (she was dropping them off at school at the time) got out uninjured (aside from whiplash). The rear end was pretty crushed, but the car crumpled exactly as it should have, keeping the passenger area in tact.

I also remember watching a Top Gear segment on Saab, comparing a C900 sedan to an E30 BMW by dropping it on its roof. The 900 help up surprisingly well, while the E30's roof was totally crushed.
Just watch some crash tests of Saabs. The first generation 9-5 seems to be even safer than a P80, which was why I almost kept my Aero instead of my V70!

Absolutely nasty day (38 and rainy) but I had to get to the junkyard and secure some goods before someone else did! Scored a set of Propus 17x7.5 wheels for my V70R.
They're filthy, but they're in awesome shape otherwise!

Thanks! I was hoping for Comets, but I knew it was either going to have those or the Propus wheels. I've always liked these BBS wheels, they should look really good on the R!

Comets are ten a penny here in the UK. Almost every C/S/V70 has had a set of comets put on. If not Comets then Titans.

My 2 inch Home Depot plumbing block off so on the front wheels aren’t Volvo either?

How do you know I didn’t strip off the black and paint them with Silver Rustoleum?

HMmm, didn’t realize the House paint was that old, either. Better call College Pro Painters and trade some used engine oil for paint
