Go to Network to check if BCM is active. Click on the icon to see serial number and software versions installed. It probably is active but still worth a check.
I assume you've checked ABS fuses in all locations.

BCM is active, I got all sorts of diagnostic readings from the module about pressure, pedal position, etc.
Tell you what, guys, this is as much about adding knowledge to the forum as it is about solving my problem. I will open a new topic to troubleshoot DSTC issue, since this thread was resolved with successful engine start. Because I got this car in un-drivable condition, I've been very pleased with the overall progress, and really happy to start putting miles on this thing. At 195K miles she is ready to have a second life!
