Hello...
First time on this site. Thank you in advance.
I bought a used 1995 Volvo 850 turbo (2.3L turbo) I test drove it and it seemed really solid, started right up in the 15 degree air and drove surprisingly well for its age. No hesitation, no issues that were glaring. It has 200k Miles and was a one owner who had a huge list of maintenance done for the last 20 years. This guy had put another 20k back into this car over the years. I had about a 100 mile drive to get it home which was amazing till about 50 miles in when I noticed a little loss in power. I got off an exit and the car seemed to struggle to idle ... it didn't die but it struggled and has ever since. It starts, it runs but under load it shakes terribly in the front end... dash sounds like it will shake off. Once up to speed and cruising, there isn't an issue. I have changed the thermostat which was the one small issue I noticed and fixed the temp gauge. I have since had a tune up, new coil pack, and new motor mounts. Gas milage is a bit better but still the shaking in idle and getting up to speed. performance seems to be down as well... any ideas????
New to me 850 turbo sedan Topic is solved

English isn't my native language, when you mention that you had a tune-up, did you also replace new plugs, cap and rotor? And I would certainly check for vacuum leaks (see youtube clip below).

More likely the fuel pump or fuel pump relay than injectors. Get a cheap tire gauge (will be destroyed unless you have a fuel pressure gauge) and check fuel pressure at the schrader valve after prime (before start), then at idle and report back.

Agree with all the comments so far. Jumper the fuel pump relay with a wire or paper clip. The symptoms will go away immediately if the relay is the problem.
If fuel supply seems to check out, consider cleaning the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve.
Any codes or CEL?
