2004 Volvo v70 2.5t titanium edition
I just purchased this and the passenger side headlight went out.
It has a high intensity bulb- I purchased a bulb from NAPA
and that was not the problem-
I went to Volvo to purchase the item the bulb fits in and it is $540 from Volvo -
So I purchased one on amazon
Did not solve the problem-
Any thought would be greatly appreciated.

Wrong forum, but have you checked the fuse? Can you look at the fuse card, should be at the end of the passenger side dashboard, hidden by the door. Look for head light fuse(s) - I know on the 2002 XC70 there are fuses in the under the hood fuse box.

Either way look for both in both locations. What we are looking for is whether the fuses have a right AND a left for the headlight.

Very off topic, but you got a pretty rare car. I think among the rarest options on the Titanium edition where the double laminated side windows which would make the car quieter. It should also have the speed sensitive steering which comes with a sensor on the steering rack, like the XC90 (this sensor can go bad however, and cause a heavy steering)
