Abby drives with a healthy dose of paranoia, expecting the tail-less monkeys on the road to do the unexpected and rude - which is the key to good defensive driving. It will pass. We took her failure notes, infiltrated them with spare Mg and Na Metal I had lying around, and burned them in the back yard. There was much rejoicing.

I287 i NJ is terrifying.

I think 75 mph is the first decile of slow speed.

Wizechtmgr noticed my SERP belt was cracking on the T5. Checked mileage...80k

Put new one on in 15 minutes. Old One in trunk

I would say this is true for the entire greater NYC area.

I replaced both cats on the PZEV 04' V70 and the CEL is still coming on with an inefficency code, same as before. This is seriously frustrating. My indie suggested installing a spacer on the secondary (downstream?) oxygen sensor to make it less sensitive which will hopefully alleviate the problem. Grrrr!

The cat itself is rarely an issue. There's something else going on like an air leak or something that fouls the air and fuel mix ratio.

I think I 78 in NJ is worse than I 287. I see three bad accidents a week on 78 -- eastbound lanes, westbound, doesn't matter. At least three a week.

I have been on every inch of interstate in the US. I-10 through New Orleans, LA is the worst. The drivers there make you New York Metropolitan drivers look sane.

Picked up a 2007 XC90 V8 Sport today for my mom. We're all pretty happy with it! It's awesome to drive, plenty of power from that silky smooth V8. Plus it has a nice growl and it handles really well for its size!

VIDA/DiCE also arrived, as well as tires for my R. Hopefully that will be registered and on the road in the next week or so!
