With your PCV system recently replaced chances are the fuel pressure sensor isn't connected properly. To service the PCV the entire fuel rail needs removal. Check that the fuel pressure sensor and all 5 injectors are tightly connected.

I agree this would be wise. To be more exact, prior to the PCV service, the car "bucked" twice as I mentioned. Could this have been caused by a cracked upper breather hose from the PCV? I didn't think it was.
These 2 occurrences were much rougher than what I am currently experiencing with the acceleration. And on one of those occasions the check engine light flashed but did not stay on. The mechanic that performed the PCV replacement also told me that there was an old code related to fuel pressure. Which he cleared. My mistake for omitting that detail which is important.
I ordered the fuel pressure sensor. The shop I took it to today told me the fuel pressure sensor was installed properly at present. He showed me how to disconnect it and how to install a new one which I reviewed again on YouTube. I can handle that. Not sure I would know if the injectors are tightly connected. I think that would require taking off the fuel rail, correct? Any links to video would be appreciated as this is new to me.

Yo same situation but my code came back as loose gas cap. Weird how same symptoms but different things.
