Euro Rails for V70

Post by Red Brick »

I have a 98 V70 that the previous owner had the dealer install the rails and flat cross bars to the tune of $667.44. The adjustment tool seems to be gone, but if these come off without making any marks, I'd like to get rid of them. If the rails need to stay, I'd get rid of the flat cross bars for a few cases of beer. I don't know what I'll ever do with them except throw them back in the car when I sell it.

Sorry, wrong spot. I'd move it but I'm kinda stupid.

If you remove them you need to buy non cut roof strips for a whopping $225 EACH

Oh, that's a good thing to know. I haven't looked at them much, but I thought I'd prefer a cleaner, flat look. I guess I'll just learn to live with them.

I'm still sure that I will never use the Volvo cross bars.

Do you still have the cross bars and want to sell them?

I still have them and they are sitting in my garage next to a set from an 03 Lexus SUV, two rear storage covers from a couple of Exploders and a bunch of other items I forget to get rid of with past cars.

I'd sell them as I will never use them. I'm not sure what they would be used for anyway. On the work order from when the past owner had them installed there is mention of a tool that I don't have. I haven't looked at the cross bars too close but everything else appears to be there.
