Ohlins V70R from eBay Topic is solved

I have been waiting for a pair of these to show up on eBay and they finally did but the price tag has me scratching my head.

Welcome to MVS. I wish I could help more... I did some searching and apparently those are very rare, rare enough that there are few results in Google and Amazon.

$2400 is bananas.

Anything with that Ö on them costs a ton. If it's rare then even more so.

The seller only needs one Volvo Purist with deep pockets. How often does a Volvo Purist get the opportunity to purchase new Öhlins adjustable shock absorbers? .... The stuff is worth whatever the seller and a buyer can agree on.

What do these things adjust, exactly? Is it ride height on the fly?

Dirk can get 4 V70s for $2400 and just choose what height he wants to ride at that day...

Volvo part number 9204202: 2000 Volvo V70 Adjustable Rear Shock Absorbers on sale for $1000.00
Probably an out of date listing. 9204202 is NLA from the Volvo warehouse.

This is one of those situations that there are so few of these shocks around, the seller can ask whatever he wants. Someone out there will buy them.

A set of these would be awesome to have, but they're normally far too expensive for me to care to buy them. I'm good with my Konis on my V70R!

Who would buy this... a V70 R owner who is serious about tracking the car on weekends. Or a Volvo nut who simply budgets to afford to have a Volvo that will turn heads in car circles.
