Nice! I had a $40 set of Perfos, wish I held onto them. I sold them for probably $150, but I've always liked those wheels.

Picked up my 855 from the dealer today. I was able to fill up the gas tank for the first time in years. Incase anyone was wondering what a brand new fuel tank looks like on a 1996 855 turbo.....

Thanks,
I am actually on the lookout for a set of Perfos. Not for the 850, but for the Nautic S70 I just bought.

Unfortunately it seems so. Like I said, I should have held onto them. I love how they look on S/V70s.

It's crunch time and I'm still on the fence about it. I need to get back to the owner by tomorrow. Not sure if I should save my $1500 and wait for a good deal on a wagon, or just go for it.

Did a 4 liter drain and fill on Evita the 99 S70. Fluid looked nice

Valvoline Dexron Maxlife synthetic

I did a pan drain of 4 liters and will do two Gibbons flushes of 4 liters over next few months

My cousin found a like-new set of Sachs struts in an absolutely immaculate ‘96 850 at the junkyard yesterday (it was one of the cleanest base 850s I’ve ever seen, 207k miles but it was obviously well maintained, no idea why it was junked), so we installed those in his wagon a little bit ago. The ride height is finally back to normal, the cheap eBay quick struts made it sit super high in the front. What a difference in ride between cheapo struts and OEM!

I also removed the 850 shift knob from my R to install a V70 boot and knob and broke the shifter in the process. I think it’s that white piece at the base of the shifter... it lifts up when I try to get into 1st or 2nd gear. Hopefully I can fix that tomorrow.

I need to remind myself to do this in the near future. The fluid was less than spectacular in condition when I did my drain/fill last fall.

Think I still have 2 gallons of the cheap stuff to run through before I go onto the premium synthetic stuff =)
Wisdom requires knowledge as a prerequisite, but knowledge can be developed due to a lack of wisdom.
In order to learn how to fix something, you must first learn how to break it.
