a bit pricey for my blood. i have a new pump, the old fuel pump is shot and the PO messed up the sender (we think that is why he never fixed the car). the wires are all crusty and somehow the part that goes though the sender top was ripped out .93Regina wrote: ↑04 Apr 2019, 20:53Both were the same....here is one, but it won't be cheap to be shipped from Europestabworthy wrote: ↑04 Apr 2019, 16:29heads up looks like both amazon seller and the volvo of phoenix, are a bust
Not sure why you need one...if fuel pump works...you don't need a fuel gauge. On one 240, fuel gauge works once in awhile, and on one 940, it never works. I've done this for years....never run out of fuel so far.
I have no idea if more than one version existed stateside. Does your existing pump have a Volvo part number?
I'm in the process of just rewiring the old one. from what i can tell the fuel gauge side works.

Another red blocker neglected to replace ground wire....he was some 500 miles from home, and his 740 would not start...towed it back, and found out ground wire had fizzled out. It takes two wires...hot and ground.
On my 940, I figured someone replaced the pump since it has over 1/4 million miles...either dash gauge or sender unit is the issue, but I'm in no hurry to fix it. Its got a 20 gallon tank....
If you have NA, then higher pressure pump is needed....if you have a Turbo with K-Jet, then a lower pressure pump will be used
