2009 V70 P/W and Locks on left side have quit

Post by rwaltco »

Noticed this recently that power windows wouldn't go down. Car sat for several hours and all is ok. THEN, today went to unlock the car and..NOTHING. Then I discovered rear hatch and right side would unlock got in and managed to pry the drivers' lock button up. Is this a control module as the windows are involved or a door actuator? My car does not use a traditional key but the fob goes into the dash with push-button start.

The module on the front door controls the module on the same side in the back door on P3, P1, P5, P6. Yours is a P3. Does anything work if the door is open and you use the switches? Could be wiring to the door or the driver's door module (DDM) The DDM will not work if it loses communication over the CAN network wiring or, of course, if it has no power supply or ground.
