It seems there's some focus on performance, and I can appreciate that. But I'm curious about locating parts for my recently acquired V70 R, and they are parts that aren't "sexy".
I'm looking at having to replace the back bumper eventually, as it's a non-R V70 bumper.
It lacks the parking sensors. There are also rubber parts (such as those pieces where the windshield meets the hood),the proper floor mats, that little red piece that sits atop the LED that shows the car alarm is active. Also will need to get the fog lights as well.
There are many fiddly bits that need to be replaced. Does either ipd or eEureoparts have them? What other good sources are out there? I've always used Voluparts, as that's all I've been aware of prior to finding this site.
The other thing - all of these parts have names, how does one know what some of these are called?
Thanks
All those other parts

2004-2007 Volvo V70r Rear Bumper Assembly (Silver Code 426)
US $380.00
So salvage yards, and pick-n-pulls may have what you want.
After so many years, all OEMs quit producing various parts. There are online Volvo dealerships with parts.

Thanks for that. It's definitely a V70 R, yet it doesn't have the parking sensors. Mine is set up for that. It would be nice to be able to shut off the message about the parking sensor system. Finding one in black is probably going to be even harder. I really need to find one that's unpainted, if possible I suppose.93Regina wrote: ↑20 Apr 2019, 22:442004-2007 Volvo V70r Rear Bumper Assembly (Silver Code 426)

It's a V70 R, so pick your own parts places will have low odds. If they don't have a V70 R or S60 R, it likely won't work.
So, how does one find part numbers? I don't have the foggiest notion.
Dealerships are out of the question. The prices they ask are absurd.
Thanks for the help.

I went to this site, https://www.volvopartswebstore.com , and went thru their menus for this vehicle:
2007 Volvo V70 5DRS S.R 2.4l 5 cylinder
If this is correct for your model, various parts are listed. If you are having an electrical issue, the part could be in a different menu.

The parking sensors are in the bumper. The previous owner put on the incorrect bumper, so it lacks the sensors. As a result, I get the message about the parking sensors system needing service.
They are the small round shapes you see on the back bumper of many cars these days. They are quite common now.

Sites like that one are going to be far more expensive than ipd, eEuro, Voluparts and some of the other Volvo parts sources.93Regina wrote: ↑21 Apr 2019, 12:29 I went to this site, https://www.volvopartswebstore.com , and went thru their menus for this vehicle:

Function?
RE: "Sites like that one are going to be far more expensive than ipd, eEuro,"
I have bought Volvo parts from OEM dealers to ebay, FCP, etc. If you want a part that is available, but not listed at these other places, then send an email to FCP/ipd/etc., state the part numbers wanted, and see what they will charge.
Main Point - State the part numbers....

Function? Okay, I'll admit to being a little surprised by the question. They sense proximity of the car to physical objects, and that is heard as a beeping in the car, letting you know you're too close and about to back into something.93Regina wrote: ↑21 Apr 2019, 15:01Function?

Part numbers are obviously useful if you know how to find said number. That's something I'm not familiar with, locating them, that is. But first I need the bumper.
The point of my thread really is about locating the names (and now part number) for these parts. How does one locate a part number or a name of a given part?
