850 Remote/keyless entry system

850 Remote/keyless entry system

Recently, in another posting on this site, someone made the statement that "all 850's came with remote/keyless entry" installed on them. Is that true? If that is so, could anyone help me with some instructions on how to purchase a transmitter ( key fob ) for the system and, also, how to program the transmitter and/or receiver ( onboard the vehicle ) so that I can make use of the system.

If not all 850's came equipped with the remote/keyless entry system, is there some way to determine if my 94 850 Station Wagon is equipped with the system, etc?

I would really appreciate any help that anyone could possibly give me for this.

All 850's intended for initial sale in the United States came with 2 keyless remotes. EBay is the best place to buy a new remote. There were a few different models manufactured, but you have to get the right one. Your dealer should be able to tell you which that is.
