New owner - bought a 2004 V70 d5 after a few years on other brands

Post by stevebg »

Hi all , recently came back to Volvo after a few years on other brands , bought an 04 V70 d5 lovely car , full extensive history 123k , have an issue with brake assist service , car has been scanned (not with Vida ) shows sensor working as in on and off at the correct times though I do notice air/ hissing when wiggling the booster sensor , unfortunately I don't know anyone local with Vida , is it still possibly the booster sensor faulty ? Also love the look of the facelift v70 and at some point plan to change to facelift headlights , I was wondering if facelift colour coded door and bumper strips from an 06 will fit an 04 ? any help and advise is appreciated

You will need help from your EU brethren as we don’t get those cool diesel model Volvos here in North America, Steve

If you can hear hissing at the booster, though, that’s bad
