What is the best recommended shop manual for a
1998 Volvo S90?

Is there a link to the favorite one?

No link and no real manual per se. Your best bet is to look for a VADIS Dvd disc on eBay. Most of us here who reference this great resource got a copy there....I got mine for about $35 a couple of years ago.

This is the 94 960 service manual in PDF form. Most of the information will be relevant to your V90.

I'm trying to buy the VADIS dvd on ebay. I looked at this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VOLVO-VA ... enameZWDVW
but after reading "THIS IS NOT A PIRATED COPY OF ALLDATA REPAIR SOFTWARE LIKE 99% OF OTHERS! THIS IS NOT A CHEAP HAYNES, CHILTONS, MOTORTREND OR ALL DATA RIP-OFF MANUAL! GO WITH THE BEST MANUAL FROM THE PEOPLE WHO MADE YOUR MACHINE!" I have some doubts of whether I'm buying the right dvd.
What do you think?

i just tried that disk from Ebay. Seems pretty awesome to me.
