Has anyone done the line in stereo mod?

I've been using one of the Grom-USA units in my V70R for years now. Impressed with the sound quality. Actually.much better than the FM radio stations. Can also take calls and listen to all your media from your phone.

Those units look slick. I've been on the lookout for a used one or one in the salvage yard.

I am not honestly myself sure is this same line than newer Volvos or just i am confused with naming.


Anyway i am myself too looking for this solutions as got from friend original radio for mine 850 as wanted too make this and will be playing around with this soon. It had ready casette mod via bottom way and my Samsung wasn't happy to detect it and i think because Samsung uses eletrical way to detect headphones (impedance?) instead more original switch inside headphone jack/port.

Newer Volvos have HU-xxx, (made by Mitsubishi ?)

I'm saving those links, I'll start testing some of this stuff once I get all the parts
