Hello all,
I've had my s80 for coming up on 4 years this may and it has been great. It is very high miles (225k) but has driven like a dream up until a couple days ago.
I got a check engine light and a P0102 code ("mass or volume airflow a circuit low") on an OBDII scanner. I cleaned the MAF sensor with some electronic cleaner and knocked out the air filter. The air filter had very little detritus in it, but the edges of the filter did seem to be a bit wet (???). It hasn't rained much recently and I haven't driven through any puddles recently (If i went through any water it would've been over 1-2 weeks ago).
These are the symptoms I'm having:
-Rough idle, can't maintain any specific RPM
-Car still runs, but gear shifts can be erratic or jumpy
-Sometimes the gas pedal becomes unresponsive until I restart the car
-Cruise control has stopped working altogether - the "cruise" text doesn't pop up on the speedometer anymore
-RPM fluctuates when coasting on road
Would replacing the MAF sensor solve this code? Any ideas of other stuff to try?
Thank you in advance!

P0102 = ECM-1300 Mass air flow (MAF) sensor. Flow too low.
1. Air leakage
2. Contact resistance
3. Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
4. Open-circuit in signal cable
5. Open-circuit in power supply cable
6. Defective sensor

MAF flow codes rarely point to a MAF failure in my experience.
The computer is looking at the MAF data and seeing the other sensors saying the MAF can't be right but nothing else is measuring air flow.
7 of 10 times it's a vaccum leak. 2.5 of 10 it's a lazy O2 sensor. Point 5 of 10 it's a bad MAF.
