Any Interest in a Thorough Volvo Variable Intake System write up?
In my ownership of my 95 850 manual base, i've incidentally become quite the authority on variable intake systems. Would anyone be interested in having me write up an article discussing the system, how it works, what vehicles it can be found on and the differences between the VIS intake and the later intake systems? Figured it might be good for an FAQ article.

I think there was a write up in the UK forums with a crosslink to the VRD here?callahanoffroad wrote: ↑20 May 2019, 10:08 In my ownership of my 95 850 manual base, i've incidentally become quite the authority on variable intake systems. The only write-ups I could find were vague and some of the information was incorrect. There was one where a gentleman built his own VIS solenoid but it wasn't very comprehensive in its coverage of the system. Just that it worked and his butt dyno felt some difference. hahaha. I think i'll just do it and that you guys can decide whether it is an improvement.abscate wrote: ↑20 May 2019, 10:44I think there was a write up in the UK forums with a crosslink to the VRD here?callahanoffroad wrote: ↑20 May 2019, 10:08 In my ownership of my 95 850 manual base, i've incidentally become quite the authority on variable intake systems.
