Front seat problems

Post by ljsommar »

I have a 2002 V70 2.4T with 219 K miles. The power seat does work but only for a short time (before the key is put into position 2). From what I have read, it seems like this might be an issue with programing. I am trying to resolve a few nagging problems in preparation for sale. That same seat's heater is also not working. But that, I'm pretty confident, is another issue.

What are my options? I have a dice unit with vida but have not used it for several years. Does this require dealer intervention? Thanks for any/all help.

Well, it looks like the car gets sold with a semi functional driver's seat. I lived with it for a few years. Its not really that limiting.

An 18 year car will have many, more Important things to worry about. Just tell purchaser to adjust seat before driving.

It’s integrated into the CEM you do need VIDA to look at what’s going on

Thanks for the response. That is exactly what I do.
I would still like to resolve it, if possible. Actually there are precious few things wrong with the car mechanically. If I can get vida up and running, is it solvable or or does one need a subscription to correct?
