Looking at a 2010

Hi,
Tomorrow I’m going to look at a 2010 XC90 with 66k miles on the clock. It seems to have most of the options associated with the luxury package-19” wheels, etc. it also has the V8 which I’m excited to drive. Is there a list of things specific to that gen of xc90’s to look for? (Other than the usual used car stuff.) I will be doing all the work myself if it needs anything in the future. It is at a dodge dealer and I don’t believe there is any paperwork associated with it as far as service records. They want $17k for it does this seem fair considering the lower miles and engine? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The lower mileage V8s are becoming a rarity so someone will pay that price. I bought my 2010 2 years ago with 45k on the clock and it was 19k. I have put 60k on it without issue.

Thanks for the replies, I will see how clean it really is when I get there. I can’t tell but it may have the cooled/massage seats also so that might play into the price.
Is there anything specific to the V8 or the xc90 to check while I am there? I plan to warm the vehicle up and take it on a serious test drive to make sure the transmission is shifting properly.

That was a bust. Drove an hour and a half and got to the dealer and the salesman started scrambling. Turns out they decided to pull it into the shop and change the air filter and start replacing brakes. We couldn’t drive it only could sit in it. I was not very happy. Interior was clean as was the underbody. Issues were tailgate wouldn’t open and once the nav screen popped up it kept thinking a dvd was jammed.
Not sure what to now. The vehicle was clean only blemish was a slight dent in the rear bumper. I was just mad they decided to pull it in when I had an appointment. Therefore I never had a chance to test drive it.

You had an appointment and they did that? Wow. That’s really bad dealer behavior. Which is a low bar to begin with.

Oh yes we had a appointment, I can’t believe they did that either. I’m not sure if I will even consider it anymore. Maybe if they came down in price it would
change things.
