1997 850 T5, nor cal, $1500 obo

hi all -
project car for someone who wants a project. This is a '97 850T wagon, black. Runs well, drives well, but has problems: see this thread - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=90191

Odometer quit @ 151k, probably ~ 190k on it now.

It's up for smog (which it passed previously, with the help of a new cat...) and re-registration so i'd like to move it quickly if I can.

Someone backed into a few years ago (hit and run . . . ) so it has a little damage to the front left. Paint peeling on the roof.

Can be given to the state for $1000, come january, so I might hang on to it till then. But if anyone's interested in Nor Cal, I'd be much happier to get it to someone who'll put some love into it.
