Well bg.. you never mentioned where it's leaking. The lines have "O" rings. Is it the lines themselves where it's crimped together? Or is it at the inner tie rods? I'm of the crowd that anything can be fixed... Not just swap it out. They have... What I've discovered... A thing called .. rack assist. Something about variable speed...To find out you'll need your full VIN # to see which one you have but I'd bet... Being a T 5 .. that's what you got. Hope this helps... MDK

Hi mdk , it's a d5 not T5 , it's leaking out the rubber boots on the inner tie rods so am guessing it's blew the seal out the rack end itself ,

Oh? It's a diesel? I'm guessing that is what that means. In any case, a rack is a rack. So.. I'm not sure I can help you that much. I'm in the states. And looking up parts I don't getting a listing for a d5. In any case.. if you can get a hold of Ratnalle.. he's one of the moderators here and I think he is in Sweden. He'll know how to help..I did manage to find a seal kit from eBay motors for S80 S60 V70 .. you could try fcp euro too.

I would expect it to have the SMI rack. Also look for a speed sensitive sensor if existent (less probable)

Yes, you will see a wire from the top of the rack box, with a flash light and the wheel full turn

Looks a bit like this https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/xMMAAOSw ... -l1600.png
