Hi everyone,
I've asked some questions over on the 850 forum, but recently I bought a 2002 V70 2.4t FWD. It spews oil, but the previous owner says that it's the camshaft seal, and it will be going into a shop tonight (timing is one thing I prefer not to mess with... Yet).
I've done some research on other common problems and it seems that the ETM is a huge issue for these vehicles. However, I wanted to clarify: Is this issue restricted to NA engines? Or is the '02 V70 2.4t one of the affected cars? I couldn't find any answers online, and FCP Euro has a throttle body (not an ETM). Unless these are the same thing?
I have service records dating back to 2002, but haven't had a chance to go through them with a fine-toothed comb yet.
Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Your turbo 2002 has the P2 Bosch Throttle Body which does not suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous Italian ETM misfortune.

'02 was the last of the Magnetti Marelli throttles if non turbo.
The turbo cars were exempted with the Bosch throttle by 2002.
