'knee high by the 4th of July' (or taller) for corn is what the farmers I grew up around always said to be ideal. This year it went in so late it had barely sprouted, maybe 3" tall on the 4th. The field immediately around my house they planted winter wheat last fall, which is sort of uncommon to see in northern Indiana. Just combined it a week ago. That looked like it did quite well... they sort of lucked out with that choice last fall as the wheat seemed to really like all the extra rain this spring.

If you haven't heard, Chevrolet debuted the new mid-engined Corvette on Friday.
They say 0-60 in "under 3 seconds".

First time the Corvette is mid-engine. And, you might want to sit down for this, it starts at $60k. Bonkers!
It's supercar territory for 1/2 the cost. Half the cost, at the very least, because Ferrari sells cars for up to ten times that cost. Generally, mid-engined sports cars start at a good deal over $100k.

How many $59,999 + shipping no options cars will dealers ever get? How long before any dealer sells a Corvette for MSRP? I am shocked that they announced it with an MSRP that low. If they ever actually sell any for that price it will reset some sports car pricing. Who would buy a Camaro ZL-1 when a Corvette with better handling is less?
