XC90 2006 CANBUS

I would like to buy a blindspot monitor for my 2006 xc90 2.5, the manufacturer, Brandmotion requires that the vehicles have the CANBUS technology so the vehicle speed can be read off the the CANBUS.

On their website it says that CANBUS became standard in 2007, Does any one know if Volvo xc90 2006 has CANBUS?

They mean for blindspot system has to be special CANBUS signal like for 2007 MY and higher.
