Popped off the RF wheel to inspect the suspension and was surprised by an exposed timing belt. The squirrel that sacrificed itself by running across the highway yesterday came to mind, I’m glad it didn’t perform a timing adjustment.

I literally set my BMW on fire while trying to repair the notorious Becker radio module.
I managed to yank the crap out of the trunk and put out the fire though. It was quite exciting!

Nice! Those E39 audio systems are tricky. My dad's 528iT has the worst sounding stereo ever... makes my SC-901 4x50w setup sound incredible!
I had looked into BavSound upgrades, but they're pricey.

My blower motor went out on the S70 a few weeks ago. I finally had the time to get in there and replace it. All went pretty easy. I went with a 4Seasons one from Rockauto--about $45 bucks.
Fit isn't perfect (wires don't connect to the housing). But for the price and for the functionality, who's complaining... Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

To go back to the age old tyre questions, can I fit 205/55/R16 tyres on my 850 or will it rub?
My car is lowered 30mm presently, and the change to 55 from 50 profile will add 10mm diameter to the sidewall height. 50 profile tyres are getting tricky (read expensive) to find in the UK and are limiting in brand and make.
