Love Scotty, but I’ll have to disagree with him on that one:

Battery in the back = Longevity - you see that trend in newer cars.

Alternator removal - apart from getting the PS pump out of the way, all I had do was remove the fan to have more wiggle room (2.4 N/A) — all that didn’t take me more than 25’

Another thing Scotty left out was the fact that almost always it’s the voltage regulator that fails which is bolt-on the alternator. Easy to replace and only a $45 (OEM) part.
