You might want to swap out the large light bulbs while you are in there.

I used a drill with about 1/4 inch thick of masking tape wrapped around a wooden pencil. It took me at least 1 hour to go 30K miles. The rubber eraser doesn't work as the rubber crumbles and mucks up the gears. The drill runs in 'reverse'.

The torx screws are all easily removed, no driver required. I have a folding torx tool and a few small sizes.

If I had a larger garage, I could have more Volvos.

Swapping bulbs out, that's smart.

Good call on the bulbs. I only have to go about 10k miles, so not so bad maybe.

Anyone know the whereabouts of a DIY on finding your mileage with the info ports under the hood?

We're having a small freak blizzard here, with lush lawns and green trees, so I put it off.

Assuming it is the 94 850T in your profile, I'm not sure it is possible to read the mileage with the under hood ports. I think you have to go to a 95 with the OBD1 type port and VOL-FCR to be able to get the mileage. Not even sure if any of the dealers can even do that anymore as they may no longer have the equipment even if they were ever able to do so. If I am wrong, glad to stand corrected.

When we swapped the speedo on our epic 850 to California transfer for my brother, no one ever asked about the mileage during the change from kph to mph speedo (thanks again Erik!!). I moved the mileage to close to the original but doing it always causes a slight misalignment in the wheels for some reason. We were not too concerned as the mileage on a 97 could be read if anyone really cared.

Our Man Robert has the answer! I think '93, '94', and '95 work with the A7 port on the OBD1 box under the hood.

My car is original, I've had it a long time, so I don't think the cluster has ever been touched.
