My '04 XC90 headliner completely failed while driving on a hot summer day with all the windows down, resulting in foam dust everywhere and zero visibility out the back.
After looking at all the extensive DIY methods to fix this, I settled on the cheapest and fastest idea I could muster:

Yes, it looks like a Chesterfield Sofa up there, but I handeld the issue in ~15m for less than $15. Not to shabby.
