Rotten egg smell stalls when press on gas

My check engine light came on had the codes read said MAF sensor. Replaced the sensor new it starts then when press on gas it stalls. I got it home seems like the gas gauge goes down and smell like rotten eggs. This is a 2002 s60 2.4 turbo with 184,000 miles.

Your catalytic converter is "toast'' - I gave this 2 seconds thought …
These are good for 100-200 K miles, give or take .
unburned gas yields the ''rotten eggs(sulfur) smell.
The codes are of limited value - can be confusing ..
