Adjusted parking brake, five clicks to get it tight how I like it. Holding on Evans driveway is my test
Sorted out my Volvo fasteners into Talenti jars

Documented the most meaningless part change from 1998 to 1999
Can't have too many fasteners!I bought some nice, not too expensive, Husky transparent organizers where I keep my nuts&bolts. I sometimes go to the junk yard just to buy fasteners! But I'm not right in the head
Swapped out the beige speaker covers with the gray from the donor car I took the carpet out of. I’m liking the contrast of the gray and beige interior.
I installed the repaired fuel tank - not too heavy but a lot of jiggling and wiggling around to get everything aligned right. Then got that rubber boot through the body shell and attached. Replaced a cracked vent hose. Ready to fill up.
Re-remembered how all the rear floor bits bolt back together, and the original unused third seat!
Managed to get that fourth vac line snaked through and connected - turbo housing to EGR valve. Did the other three turbo control lines a while ago and forgot this one - or avoided facing it. But not so bad really. Good light and a long needle nose pliers, and move some turbo hoses out of the way. (Note: The little squeeze clamps that come with the ipd silicone hoses will be too loose - use the old ones from your old rubber hoses)
Came out intact.....but with cracks at the bends. Was it from me yanking on it with a pliers, or already cracked?...hmm. I had an "EGR Flow Too Low" code for forever, could this be it? I've tested EGR, cleaned it, checked the intake port etc etc. We'll see if this solves it.
Then I used the Robert DIY to find my actual mileage on the computer before I replace the ODO gears.....178,000 mi, hmm. I would have guessed 160 or 165, oh well.
My S80 got hit ! Luckily it is just a fender and some paint work. Obviously Volvo built it tough. The Honda that hit me looked bad. So bad I was afraid to get out and look. I was expecting much more damage. I still feel sick... All day I have been driving my daughter's 2007 C70 and officially hate it! I sure hope my car is fixed fast. June
